The story
I started Plaza after watching too many local businesses get burned by website agencies. Six-month timelines that turned into eighteen. $5,000 invoices for sites that looked the same as everyone else's. "Maintenance contracts" that never actually maintained anything.
I'm an economics student at UC Berkeley with a stubborn craft habit — building, fixing, and tuning things until they work the way they should. Cars, code, espresso, golf swings. Websites turned out to be the most useful application of that.
